Job Objectives:
Accountable for coordinating, maintaining and delivering comprehensive Occupational Health and First Aid services to all employees and authorized contractors. Responsible to provide technical expertise, leadership and support in the Occupational Health and First Aid disciplines/areas.
Job Description:
- Conduct pre-placement and annual employee health assessment, wellness, monitor employee illness and absence, provide health counselling and referral services.
- Coordinate scheduling of employee medical assessments.
- Provide support for tertiary prevention programs to facilitate early return to work from occupational and personal injuries/illness as part of a disability management program.
- Provide First Aid treatment services as required within the facilities of Qatalum.
- Communicate to management the nature of first aid services provided and advise management on appropriate illness/injuries management requirements.
- Complete and maintain records of treatment of all services provided.
- Provide input and recommend the continuous improvement of the company practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.
- Comply with all agreed occupational health and safety regulations in order to protect personnel and physical assets. Ensure that the work areas are kept in a clean and tidy state in order that work can be carried out safely and effectively.
- Generate or assist in generation of any departmental reports are prepared as per management request, in a timely and accurate manner to meet company and department requirements governing reporting.
- Follow of all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Participate in the formulation of health policies and practices through collaboration with the Head of Occupational Health.

Minimum Qualifications Required
- Educational certification in nursing – preference for Occupational Health
- Certified/licensed to provide first-aid treatment and services within the State of Qatar
Minimum Experience Required
- 4-6 years experience in nursing, with experience in Occupational Health
