Job Objectives:
Ensure the efficient sourcing of recycled products by identifying and developing reliable suppliers, negotiating favourable contracts, and maintaining compliance with quality and sustainability standards. Oversee the verification of the chemical composition of materials to meet operational and industry requirements. Optimize supply chain processes to enhance cost efficiency, ensure timely deliveries, and support the company's sustainability initiatives and long-term business goals.
Job Description:
- Support the negotiation, purchase and sales agreements to optimise profitability.
- Identify and cultivate opportunities for enterprise development within the recycling market.
- Support new initiatives within a high-performing team to drive success for recycling activities.
- Maintain strong relationships with local and international scrap companies to ensure a stable supply chain.
- Collects and prepares collated information for forecasting, market reports that assist management in their decision-making process.
- Support in optimising the allocation of recycled materials based on availability, casthouse capability and customer demand.
- Utilise cutting-edge sourcing strategies and purchasing practices via internally recognized professional supply chain associations.
- Support with supplier, vendor and contractor negotiations of major contracts.
- Manage key tasks and priorities and provide reports accordingly on a regular basis to Sourcing Manager.
- Support the development and training of National employees.
- Provide input and recommend the continuous improvement of the company practices taking into account 'international best practice', changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of department system, processes and practices, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
- Comply with all agreed occupational health, safety and environmental regulations in order to protect personnel and physical assets. Ensure that the work areas are kept in a clean and tidy state in order that work can be carried out safely and effectively.
- Adherence to world class best practices for safety, health and environmental standards.
- Ensure to generate or assist in generation of any departmental reports are prepared as per management request, in a timely and accurate manner to meet company and department requirements governing reporting.
- Follow of all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Develop and gain approval for department policies and procedures ensuring their alignment to overall business objectives. Monitor and control implementation and advice on the policy application to ensure that they are properly communicated and widely understood.
- Provide guidance and update the senior management and concerned staff on company tendering policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualification Required
- Bachelor Degree in business administration or relevant field.
Required experience - 5 - 7 years of experience in recycling market sourcing within a similar industrial sector.
- 1-2 years supervisory experience.
- Experience in dealing with suppliers, market evaluation, analysis of regulations and practices in the aluminium recycling industry.
Job Specific Skills - Recycling market knowledge and negotiation skills.
- Excellent knowledge in computer skills including MS Office.
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing).
- SAP knowledge and understanding is a plus.
- Ability to work in a multinational and multicultural environment.
