Job Objectives
To identify contractual requirements and opportunities, thereafter develop and execute strategies for tender and contract award, in accordance with the company’s long term business goals and company business plan. To administer live contracts in support of various contract holders which will include routine communication with contractor and customer, dispute resolution, which may include liaising with internal and external lawyers, claims and contract closures.

Key Accountabilities - 1
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
Follow of all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Departmental Reports
Generate or assist in generation of any departmental reports are prepared as per management request, in a timely and accurate manner to meet company and department requirements governing reporting.
Health, Safety and Environment
Comply with all agreed occupational health, safety and environmental regulations in order to protect personnel and physical assets. Ensure that the work areas are kept in a clean and tidy state in order that work can be carried out safely and effectively.
Continuous Improvement
Provide input and recommend the continuous improvement of the company practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.
People Management
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the assigned organizational unit and comply with established standards and procedures to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and that employees are motivated, understand what is expected of them, and perform according to the designated standards.
Qatarization
Support the development and training of National employees.
Key Accountabilities - 2
Departmental Activities
- Plan, direct, coordinate and manage the performance monitoring of vendors, contractors, suppliers and consultants in providing contractual services and keep internal client user department apprised of contract execution schedules.
- Lead and coordinate post agreement/contracts award shutdown activities, and provide 24 hr on call eligibility during major shutdowns.
- Responsible for the management and administration of all company contracts for all customers, vendors of the company.
- Liaise with internal stakeholder and contract holders to fully understand their contracting needs and aspiration, to help them better understand the contracting process and offer support when preparing procurement strategies.
- Liaise with dedicated team of end users for assessing requirement, providing continuous support and advice on contractual manner.
- Update and maintain historical data on vendor services and contract performance. Identify trends and follow-up with unsatisfactory performers to take corrective action.

Minimum Qualifications Required
- Bachelor degree in the relevant field
- Knowledge of Business Laws and Contract Management
Minimum Experience Required
- Minimum 12 years of experience in Contracts Management and Administration
- 3 years Management / Supervisory experience.
- Experience in evaluation, analysis and application of contract law, regulations and practices in the Middle East.

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good leadership skills and flexibility to work in multicultural environment
- Knowledge in SAP modules
- Good exposure and experience in Quality Management concepts (ISO 9000 series) and other international standards (ISO 14000 and TS 16949 etc)
- In depth acquaintance of administrative and operations services and internal standard forms of Supply/service/lease contracts including claims resolutions and mitigation
- Excellent planning, analytical, decision making and problem solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Computer literacy with good knowledge of MS applications
- Ability to manage and understand service/supply contracts
- Proven negotiations skills and commercial expertise in a worldwide basis
- Excellent command of English (writing and oral) is essential
