Job Objectives:
To provide Civil Maintenance & Scaffolding support to maintenance and operations groups in Qatalum.
Job Description:
- Supervise, direct and coordinate all Civil engineering Maintenance, Corrosion Protection and Scaffolding activities.
- Develop and review Asset Management Strategies for all Civil Maintenance task of the plant.
- Develop, implement and review of operating procedures and maintenance plans.
- Ensure Civil maintenance, Corrosion Protection and Scaffolding technical support to Operations and Maintenance groups.
- Coordinate and execute task with external contractor & suppliers as per the requirement.
- Develop and execute Civil maintenance improvement activities.
- Develop and Analyse reports related to civil engineering works and prepare reports on that regard to the management.
- Oversee warranty issues management and follow-ups.
- Follow of all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Generate or assist in generation of any departmental reports are prepared as per management request, in a timely and accurate manner to meet company and department requirements governing reporting.
- Comply with all agreed occupational health, safety and environmental regulations in order to protect personnel and physical assets. Ensure that the work areas are kept in a clean and tidy state in order that work can be carried out safely and effectively.
- Provide input and recommend the continuous improvement of the company practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.
- Support the development and training of National employees.

Minimum Qualification Required
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
Required experience
- 7 – 9 years experience in similar position
- 5 years experience in supervisory role
