Job Objectives:
To be responsible to provide technical services to support electrical maintenance activities with the focus on achieving optimum availability and reliability of electrical equipments in Qatalum installed facilities. To coordinate with Supervisor to plan and execute daily maintenance works, update the equipment history within acceptable methods.
To carry out preliminary investigation of equipment failures on job site and to ensure repair works are completed in safely and timely manner. To ensure that there would not be any re-work on the equipment after repair.
Job Description:
- Maintain and monitor the operational efficiency of all electrical equipments to ensure optimum performance and carry out remedial work under direction.
- Assist in the development and implementation of plant preventive maintenance for all electrical equipments to ensure operational effectiveness and preserve company assets.
- Maintain and update field electrical related equipments.
- Attend daily meetings with team technicians and supervisor and plan routine jobs and make sure the job carried out is in compliance with Qatalum standards.
- Participate in the diagnosis and repair of major equipment faults and breakdowns, compile the field data for further technical evaluations.
- Maintain a full service record of all works undertaken on electrical equipments.
- Provide technical support to contract services staff at job site.

Minimum Qualification Required
- Relevant Technical/Trade Qualification.
Required experience
- 4-6 years Maintenance Aluminium experience, with particular expertise in the field of electrical maintenance
